“Hybrid added to muscular body” Will the new Palisade come out like this?
A new prediction for Hyundai Motor Company’s Palisade full-change model has emerged. Palisade was launched in December 2018, and is a model that is gaining great popularity due to its generous size and excellent cost-effectiveness compared to the Santa Fe.
The Palisade full change forecast, released by YouTuber ‘New York Mammoth’, was created by combining Hyundai Motor Company’s latest design with the manufacturer’s imagination. The authentic box-type SUV design is reflected, and the front part is characterized by horizontal daytime running lights and the Palisade's vertical lamps.
The side part has a more angular design compared to the current model. It is a boxy design designed for the American market, reminiscent of the Ford Explorer.
Previously, Hyundai Motor Company Vice President of Product Planning Olabisi Boyle announced the development of the next-generation Palisade, which provides more space than the Santa Fe, at the LA Auto Show. In addition, it was announced that along with the dramatic changes to the Palisade, a more muscular stance and boxy body design desired by North American market consumers will be applied.
Detailed information about the new Palisade has not yet been confirmed. However, it is reported that a hybrid model will be added along with a downsized powertrain. The hybrid model is expected to be equipped with the newly developed 2.5 turbo hybrid system.
As for the gasoline engine, there is talk of the possibility of installing a 3.5-liter gasoline turbo or 2.5 gasoline turbo engine, which is downsized from the existing 3.8-liter. Along with powertrain improvements, changes such as the installation of the latest infotainment system were announced.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai Palisade full-change model is expected to be introduced in January 2025.
